Best Instant Chocolate Fudge

This is a recipe for the kids for those (hopefully) very rare occasions when you allow them to eat pure sugar, and just let them have it! This recipe is also so easy any one could make it, so let the kids try their hand at it. This Instant Chocolate Fudge also requires no baking, so that makes it even simple to put together. Even the containers are easy enough that a kid can open them. So let the kids do it, and you put up your feet and relax.

Fudge was thought to have been invented in the United States when a baker burnt a caramel that he (and it would have been a he in that time period, at least most likely) had been making. The result was fudge, and fudge has become increasingly popular ever since. The most classic form of this incredibly sweet, rich and decadent delight starts with butter and sugar and milk. The whole thing is brought to a different temperature, depending on whether you are making fudge or caramel or hard candy (and the temperature differences are miniscule, making it easy to create hard candy when you wanted fudge, or vice versa). It is not as easy as you might think to make this dish. A truly great fudge has a firm bite to the palette, and then the combined ingredients of milk, butter and sugar, literally should melt away in the mouth. It is a unique texture as well as taste, but very few commercial fudges achieve this extraordinary combination.

In any event, this is a simplified version of the much more complex and difficult original recipe. It is a great way for the kids to have a really sweet treat, and chocolate, at that. They will enjoy it, so once in a while, why not let them have it? Enjoy this snack soon.
